ENG 205 Intro to WRL
ENG 205 introduces students to writing, rhetoric, and literacy through the lens of multimodality. Throughout the semester, students read, write, and think through different kinds of modalities, focusing in particular on the overarching question guiding this course: How has the unprecedented growth of digital communication technologies transformed the shape and boundaries of writing, rhetoric, and literacy?

Expert Panelist
Participate as a panel expert on one of the "big ideas" central to writing, rhetoric, and literacy studies
Tutorial Reflection
Identify and complete learning materials related to a particular technology or platform (e.g. podcast, website builder, video editing, etc.)
Inquiry Project
Conduct a research investigation into the writing, rhetorics, and literacies surrounding a specific social, cultural, environmental, and/or technological practice.
